Wednesday, April 05, 2023 Sunday, 9 April: Easter Sunday potluck (with GCF and the Caltech Catholics group), 5:30pm at Sami's house. We'll plan to eat around 6:00pm. Sign up to bring a dish on this Google sheet. If you have allergies/dietary restrictions you'd like those bringing food to be aware of, you can also list those on the sheet as well. Saturday, 15 April: Science and Faith Examined (SAFE) event with Dr. Charles Cao, 6:30pm in the Hameetman Multipurpose Room. Charles is currently a researcher in theoretical physics at Caltech and an incoming assistant professor at Virginia Tech. He'll be sharing how the paradoxes in his research on quantum gravity are similar to the way he has understood the relationship between science and Christian faith. Sign up to volunteer here!

Subject: Easter Sunday sunrise hike
Sunday, 9 April: Easter Sunday sunrise hike, 6am at the La Cañada Teepee trailhead. For the third year in a row, GCF and friends will gather for an early-morning hike, with some Scripture readings and songs halfway through. It's about 3 miles and 1300 feet of elevation gain total, but the hard work will be rewarded with glorious sunrise views and wonderful fellowship (and, most importantly, bragging rights at church later that morning).
