[CCF] Veritas Workshop!

Thursday, March 30, 2017

Hello all!

tl;dr: We have set up a Veritas workshop on April 9th (Sunday) @ 2 - 4 pm Multimedia Room SFL covering Christian, Pluralism and Multiculturalism. Sign up @ another form

Hope you are having a wonderful and restful Spring break and are ready to start another term! As you may know, we sent an email out several weeks ago regarding interest about a possible workshop/seminar at Caltech done by one of the individuals at the Veritas Headquarters. After seeing interest from several individuals, we have put together a two hour workshop that covers the topics of Christianity, Pluralism, and Multiculturalism and its defensibility and feasibility within the intellectual venue (please see email below). If you are interested or plan on coming, please fill out another form (don't worry, its very short :) )If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments, please feel free to contact me (gdaghlia@caltech.edu) or Voon (vlai@caltech.edu). Thank you and God bless!

Hi all,

Thanks everyone who responded to our previously sent form of interest.  We are very pleased to announce that this workshop is happening on April 9th (Sunday).

Date and Time: April 9th (Sunday), 2 - 4 pm
Venue: Multimedia Room in Sherman Fairchild Library
Speaker: Rebecca McLaughlin, Ph.D., V.P. of Content, The Veritas Forum
Topic: Christian, Pluralism and Multiculturalism -
Articulate why evangelism is intellectually defensible in the modern university and why Christianity is the most multicultural movement in all of history.
(Note: will keep you all posted if there is any changes)

Here attached another form (last one I promise!! a short one as well), to get actual attendance for better planning.  and if you're non-Caltech folks, please check the relevant box in the form because we will need to get clearance from the library for you to enter on non-work day.

Thanks again and feel free to reach out to me (vlai@caltech.edu) with any questions, comments etc.

Cheers,
Voon
