[CCF]Fall Term Week 5

Wednesday, October 26, 2022

For this week's all-campus worship night, we need two types of volunteers: musicians (looking at you, trumpeters, guitarists, and violinists), and someone to give a short ~5 min testimony about how they've balanced schoolwork with following Jesus in busy seasons. If you're interested, text/email Nathan Wei (nwei@caltech.edu), the GCF'er who is organizing this, or message Victor on Messenger.
In particular, if you're a musician, there will be a practice session at the music house at 7:30pm tomorrow.

This week's schedule:

All-Campus Worship Night
This Friday, 10/28, 7:00PM at the Newman Center (on Hill Ave. just north of Caltech), we'll join forces with GCF (Caltech's graduate fellowship), Catholics at Caltech, and other Christians on campus to worship God together as one body. We'll sing songs of praise, hear a message from Viktor Toth (a Ph.D. candidate in theology at Fuller) and a student testimony on living faithfully in seasons of busyness, and share fellowship over refreshments afterwards. Come and bring friends—all are welcome!
[N.B. The above description was mostly stolen from GCF's email, just like it was last week and the week before that :-P ]

Missio Neighborhood Group
Brooklyn will be hosting a weekly Bible study/small group tomorrow, Thursday 10/27, 7:00-8:30PM in One Holer (Rickets 117). Come, enjoy, and ask questions!
[N.B. De jure, it's under the Missio umbrella and is thus open to the public; but de facto, it's just Caltech undergrads.]

Hour of Prayer
Come join us for Hour of Prayer for a time of singing, fellowship, and prayer tomorrow, Thursday 10/27, 10:00–11:00PM in the Avery music room. Invite your friends!

Missio Sunday Morning Service
There will be a group of CCFers walking to Missio's 10 AM service on Sunday 10/30. Meet on Moore Walk in front of Avery House at around 9:40 AM and we'll head over as a group!

God bless,
Joshua Grosso
