Dear Friends,
"...Mature men love." -John Jacob Goldsby Skidmore
(I always think of him when I think of 1 Thess 2:8.)
Glad to hear that our beloved Skippy was remembered at Large Group this past Monday (11-09-15), that is fitting. I would loved to have been there.
Here are the plans for the memorial service to be held for him this weekend.
When: Sunday, November 15th, Gather at 3 pm
Where: Charles S. Farnsworth Park, N. Lake Avenue and Concha St* Altadena, CA 91001
After the Service (and in case of inclement weather):
The remembrances continue at the home of Martin Lo and William Wentzel,
1366 Skywood Circle, Altadena CA 91001 (~1.5 miles south-east of Farnsworth Park)
All people are invited to come hang out.
*Drivers, please try to park on the north side of the street.
Also upcoming
For those who are unable to attend the memorial service this weekend, DON'T LOSE HEART!
There are plans in the works for an all-day "open house" event to be held the weekend of 11/22.
Love & Blessings in Christ,
John & Vikki Kowalski Willians, CCF/permfrosh '03
